Printers I Use

This is another super frequently asked question. I currently have 2 printers, and I use each one for different projects. Keep reading to learn more about my printers and how I use them.

Beginning with my most frequently used printer...
Canon Pixma
  • Why I love it:
Prints up to 13"x19", prints borderless, and has amazing color quality.
  • What I don't like about it:
Goes through ink very quickly, and prints at a moderate speed.
  • What I use it most for:
Large prints, glossy prints, or super heavy cardstock due to its top loader.

Canon Imageclass
  • Why I love it:
Prints quickly, saves on ink due to toner usage, leaves a glossy finish.
  • What I don't like about it:
Does not print borderless, requires a much bigger upfront cost. and is a HUGE printer.
  • What I use it most for:
Anything I need a ton of fast copies of.

The printer below I no longer use, however, I still consider it a good starter printer.

HP Envy

  • Why I love it:
Very low ink cost, duplex printing, low up front cost.
  • What I don't like about it:
Does not print borderless, color quality not as great as Canon Pixma, takes forever to print.
  • What I use it most for:
Simple/basic print jobs.
I have had a ton of printers over the years, but these 3 are the ones I currently have. I do not recommend one over the other because each one has its uses to me. You have to decide what you'll be using your printer for the most, and then be sure to READ THE REVIEWS.
